Auckland (USA), April 20 (EFE). * Leading hitter Matt Olson won a major championship, designated hitter Mitch Morland scored two games at home and closed athletics to the Minnesota Twins 7-0 on Tuesday and added their ninth successive win, in their first double-headed game.
Athletics tied for the longest winning streak in the major tournaments this year with Boston, which won nine straight victories from April 5-14. Auckland are 10-1 since the 0-6 season started.
Olson (4) sent the ball into the street in the fourth half, with a full court, by beating the Dominican relief fields Jorge Alcala.
