German Chancellor, Angela Merkel said that they are continuously reviewing travel restrictions, after meeting Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Johnson ensured her of looking onto this issue. Angela said that double jabbed people can travel from UK to Germany without being quarantined. She said that, at beginning they didn’t have much of experience to deal with this variant but we have learnt to deal with it. Since May, UK travelers were not allowed to enter Germany, aside from some exceptions. Allowed travelers were imposed to quarantine for 14 days. Angela also showed some concern about the number of people attending the EURO 2020 matches in UK, and said that government of UK will take their own decision. Talking about her country she said that very few people attend games in Munich stadium, but she is still concerned about whether the number of people is not too much. Mr. Johnson also replied that the sporting events are being handled in a very careful and controlled manner. He also assured that the lockdown in England will be lifted within next few days along with international travelling agenda on high.
