DAHAKA, Sept 5, 2021 (BSS)—New Zealand skipper Tom Latham won the toss and elected to bat first against Bangladesh in the third Twenty20 International game at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium today.
Bangladesh lead the series 2-0 following their seven-wicket and four-run victory in the first two matches of the five-match series.
A victory in the third game would help Bangladesh confirm their first ever Twenty20 series victory against New Zealand
In a bid to wrap up the series with two matches to spare, Bangladesh remained unchanged.
New Zealand, who are keen to keep them alive in the series, made three changes with Finn Allen, Jacob Duffy, Scott Kugglejin replacing Hamish Bennett, Bean Sears and Doug Bracewell.
Finn Allen however made him available in the series after recovering from the Coronavirus.
