Last December at this time, it was rumored that Charlie Cox would once again play his role as the invisible hero Daredevil in Tom Holland’s third film Spider-Man, now titled Spider-Man: No Way Home and will star in theaters. on Dec. 17. (At the time, Cox dismissed the rumors, saying “it certainly has nothing to do with my Daredevil.

Now, Marvel Studios CEO Kevin Feige is on fire again, telling Cinema Blend that only Cox and Cox will play Matt Murdock known as Daredevil in any of the new projects, while also pointing out that such an encore is actually in the books.

“If you could see Daredevil in the future, Charlie Cox, yes, you would be a Daredevil player,” said Feige, who is as mysterious as ever. “When we see that, how we see that, when we see that, it remains to be seen.”

Marvel’s Daredevil - the first of “street-level heroes” brought to life, a small screen life by Netflix - was canceled three seasons later in November 2018. As our sister site Variety reported back in the day, the Netflix deal with its first four Marvel shows ( included Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage) had a clause barring the main characters from appearing in “any non-Netflix series or film for at least two years after being canceled.”

However, it is now three full years.

But where will Daredevil appear again? The first Spider-Man: No Way Home teaser aroused tinfoil hats, with some claiming to check Cox’s arm at the NYPD interrogation scene.

Recently, the third Disney + episode of Hawkeye introduces, though unseen, the “uncle” of the character Maya Lopez / Echo - and in comic books, Maya’s adoptive father was Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin aka Daredevil a recurring enemy. Daredevil alum Vincent D’Onofrio has only added to that speculation through a series of secret tweets, while Maya’s uncle’s “chuckle” certainly sounds like D’Onofrio. If Kingpin actually becomes the ruler of Maya, can Man Without Fear be far behind?

Of course She-Hulk is due to appear on Disney + in 2022, and it would make sense for Tatiana Maslany star Jennifer Walters to travel to the same circles as Matt Murdock’s official eagle.
