The company has launched a similar feature on Instagram allowing users to share their top ten stories of the year. Users will be able to see friends, photos, and locations they were part of concurrently as well as other experiences shared via Facebook’s Year Together card throughout December 2017- January 1st, 2018!
Facebook has already announced that they won’t be limiting this to only what’s posted on the platform; instead, users can select other images or articles if needed too! The idea is that you’ll get fed with all of your memories in one place without having any awkward conversations about exactly how much champagne was spilled at the collapsing wedding anniversary number 4 lakh.
Meta, the company behind popular apps such as Facebook and Instagram has rolled out a new feature for users who want to relive their favourite memories from last year. Like what you see on your feed during Christmas Eve when everyone is getting together sharing moments captured throughout this special time in life? Well, now it’s available all day long! The app will showcase 2020 Playback which allows people at any given moment to watch old videos they’ve uploaded onto one account or separate them into different channels depending on how much storage space anyone needs (I’m sure there isn’t anything embarrassing enough yet).
